As everyone knows The restrictions that quarantine placed on everyday life altered and interrupted many people’s daily routines which lead to weight gain in most of us . Even i ended up gaining a few extra kilos during the pandemic .I wanted to be fit and toned again.

Although there were people around me who were following many fad diets which would leave them disheartened and unhappy.I always was looking for A good and sustainable diet plan one that is natural and It should be a part of an individual’s routine. In August 2020 when one of my family member got a very good result with Harsh Rajpal i was inspired to take up a plan with him. He introduced me with the concept of mindful eating..which immediately struck the right cord and i began my journey of weight loss with him as a mentor. He has been the most supportive coach and motivated me at every step of my journey Although it is very difficult to mention all the knowledge i gained from him in the innumerable call sessions i had with him i would like to mention a few points which i have imbibed as my fitness mantra.. First being Mindful eating which allows us to build awareness during our eating
experiences and establish a more positive relationship with food. with a mindful approach, the person’s choices often are to eat less, savor eating more, and select foods consistent with desirable health benefits Second is how food and exercise go hand in hand in your weightloss process For years I had a training schedule which was a random mix of weight training

and aerobics. From September onwards under his guidance I undertook full- fledged weight training program . And that was a game changer.

Weight training started giving me the high and how! I started getting faster results something i never thought i would be experiencing at the age of 43. “Take my advice, I’m not using it” is most common trait in people. Without even knowing the basics of what I was following, people asked me diet kaise kar lete ho, itna kam khaoge to weak ho jaoge, Gin gin ke kaun khata hai, You weren’t fat then why all this, yadaa yadaa .. But lil did they know that i was eating more than I ever did and incorporated all the food items I liked ,just that I now do it intelligently. I have been able to maintain my weight over the past one and a half year, it has fluctuated here and there but for most part it has remained steady .Personally it was about a change in lifestyle and not about losing as much weight as quick as possible. Even though I did lose quite a lot of weight, the goal for me was always to form healthy daily routines that I would be able to maintain for the rest of my life.

B – Balance your lifestyle such that the fitness journey you embark upon is sustainable for lifetime. Its not a 3month stint until you are under your mentor.
C – Challenge not others but yourself each day.
D – Dedication and Determination. Its ok to slip off momentarily. But with these
